Morgan Dollars

Thanks everyone. I am also looking for advice on how to read the PCGS Coin Price Guide. For instance, on my 1884-O Morgan Dollar(s) I see three columns, one with no designation, one with DM (Deep Mirror Prooflike), and the last with PL (Prooflike). I looked up the certification numbers for both coins, and could not find where this was designated. Also could someone could point me to some good selections on eBay for Morgan Dollars. I currently have two 1884-Os, which I understand to be in mint condition, one is MS64 and one is MS65. Both were graded by PCGS before I purchased them.

If your coins are not labeled by pcgs as PL or DMPL on the holder then use the "not designated". These are the circulation strikes.

  • That makes a lot of sense, thanks.
