Poll: Should there be no signature lines with links to Ebay auctions?

a continuation of the other poll.
Most of the coins I post are for sale but I NEVER say they are for sale in the post. My signature line has a link to my Ebay auctions. If a coin is for sale then maybe we should have a rule of no signature line links to where coins are for sale.

The way you handle seems just fine to me, but I guess you can't please everyone. Sig lines with a for sale link don't bother me at all. I find the sig lines with BIG pictures annoying.

How do I win on this one?
<< <i>No linking of any pictures of any coin for sale anywhere >>
I agree with Barry!
I guess it is ok to have a link until I post a pic. What a pain.
You should have added "Who gives a rats rear". I'd vote for that one.
Posting pics of a coin that is not "advertised" for sale in a thread should not be disallowed just because a person has a blind link in their sig line. Complainers with chips on their shoulders ruin it for the vast majority that really don't care if the coins are for sale or not...they just want to see great coins!

As for sig line pictures: as long as they stick to Carol's rule of no more than 200 X 400 and @ 20K am I am fine with that.

Ahh, the true spirit of a salesman in this "HOT" market.

I strongly support the placement of links to eBay auctions in sig lines. I encourage all board members that sell on eBay to include these links.
Because of these links, I have been able to purchase some great coins from some great sellers that I otherwise would never have known about.
Also, because eBay only allows thirty favorite sellers to be stored on the "My eBay" page, I cannot store all the sellers whose auctions I would like to regularly check. And I certainly cannot remember the eBay names of all the board members that sell on eBay
I also do not mind a sig line pic of a coin for sale, as long as it is not a huge, obnoxious picture that causes dial-uppers to start whiny threads about about large images in posts. I find these more annoying than any amount of "Coins for Sale" sigs
The only type of posting I would find unacceptable in the US Coin Forum would be blatant "Coins for Sale" post with no other content in the body of the post. These should clearly be in the BST forum. Otherwise, what's the point of having separate BST and US Coin Forums?
Links to auctions in sig lines are cool but pictures of "great" coins for sale on eBay is still spam because all you sellers will say your coins are great and should be posted on this forum.
I didn't vote in the rigged poll either.
