    I think I'm going to sell my entire high end collection in a series of one day auctions.
    I just don't get how people can fall for this stuff!

    the people who fall for this stuff deserve it....after all they're just looking to make a quick buck. this no different than the get rich quick schemes stupid people chase

    I just sent this joker an email to see if I could meet him personally to exchange a cash payment for the card should I be lucky enough to be the high bidder... I wonder what his reply will be? Hmmmmm

    I got it from the list of icons... it's the flashing light from the evil HAL 2000 computer in Space Odyssey... I thought it was ironic because we all "talk" to our computers on these boards... and then wait for the computer to "talk" back...

    Amazing! He replied... very cryptic... all he wrote was "yes, I understand"

    Think I should place a $500,000 bid with confidence! BTW he also has a Goudey Gehrig in PSA 10! Maybe I can do a double dutch with him.

    I have no problem w/ the Mantle PSA-10 seller he is a long time eBay member, all the way back since Tuesday image ...jay

    A quick search on the pop report shows there are three PSA 10 Mantles. Marshal Fogel has one of them. Do we know where the other two are? Do Charles Merkel and Don Louchios each have one?

    Mikeschmidt knows where they are - some clown stole a scan last month and tried the same BS, and he disclosed that all three were in "strong hands". This guy is a common criminal, which happens every day on eBay. Caveat emptor.

    this honda guy was pulling this stuff last year on ebay but mostly on yahoo.............took quite a few peeps for some serious dough.

    I wonder if the idiot seller knew this was a 6 figure card. You would think he'd have a better chance of scamming someone w/ a PSA-7.
    A 7 smrs for $15K and there are many out there, so it would give the appearance that this was more legit. I would hope that criminal charges were levied against the seller for fraud as opposed to just cancelling the auction and having his zero feedback account closed.
    Why aren't these scumbags prosecuted? ......ohhh, to much bad publicity for eBay, so lets sweep it under the rug...jay

    I believe that Peter Garcia bought one of them for some big $$$ back in 2000/2001. Like the previous poster said Fogel has one, and I am not sure about the 3rd one.
