John Stockton never signed through the mail. And he refused to sign any trading cards when he played which is why he only had 1 certifed autographed card (92-93 Hoops) up until now. And look how shaky the "J" in John is. An obvious forgery.

They do that a lot, including one for JO, which is how I noticed as well. It's just sad how fake they are.

You should see the list. Lets see his Elway and Favre Look NOTHING like the ones I received in the mail.....

I think Johnny Boy Autopenned his....it just looks TO perfect. Favre is auth I believe I got it the year before their first Superbowl win.




Is it legal to hunt down and shoot people like this.....no not the Athletes that autopen, the "fakers"?

Well I work at a store that deals if Favre auto's that we get directly from the company he signs for in Wisconsin and I can tell you that the one up for auction is a FAKE!!!
I look at the ones we have in our store 3 days a week so when a fake like that pops up it sticks out like a sore thumb!
Sad to think that there are people out there like that!

Perhaps he signed it after a game! After handeling the ball for awhile, it's possible he got the jitters.

Thats what I thought the first time and then I saw some others that were stamped and they did not look the same. I assumed an autopen.

Anyho can we report these guys? They are saying some were even obtained in person....

I would say the Favre is legit.

Nah, that John Elways is a rubber stamp. That's why the entire signature is perfect and looks like it is outlined. Autopens have a heavy mark at the end of each word where the pen stops. Here is an autograph I received from Michael Jordan through the mail back in '92-93
