    My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

    I don't know about you guys but I didn't like the feeling I got when she said that. If something is wrong or

    she's not coming back -what a huge void there will be on these boards. I don't think I've ever met such an

    educated collector, always bright and genuine. Even her deep faith in God never ceased to amaze me. I wish she

    had been a little more specific....talk about short goodbyes. Wow! Take care Lucy and I hope you do come back!image
