After doing my geometry homework, i decided to take a look at all my coins under my 10x loupe to see if there was maybe a diebreak or DD that i could have missed on one of my 213 coins in 2x2's. So after 30 minutes of searching every square milimeter of about 100 coins i came upon my morgan dollars. I have about 20 of these, but i have two that are just soo beautiful and completeley defy the rest. Beautiful toning, full strike and tons of luster. I thought to myself "I really should get these coins certified". Now i know all these are commmon as all hell and i don't think either of them would even make 60, but i just feel like having a coin certified preserves it and i feel as if it is safer to handle, if i should drop it. Most of it is just phycological. In your opinion, What determines if a coin is "valuable" enough to certify and what are some reasons why you might certify a coin?

If you want to make sure they don't get damaged, put them in an AirTite or CoinWorld holder (the ones that are like slabs)... they are much cheaper. Don't throw your money away slabbing for no reason.
