Gold Bicentennial Medal Sold Here Only

This medal is featured in the March 8 issue of Coin World on page 38. The medal was the first one authorized by Congress after the restrictions on private gold ownership had been lifted. It was designed by Frank Gasparro and was the official Bicentennial medal. This is the .906 inch variety with a mintage of 30,239 and weighing 13 grams. With a fineness of .900, this gives it a gold value of $135 at today's spot. I'm selling it for $140 which includes P&I. Five day return priviledge.

The medal comes in a velvet lined wooden box which is inside a blue cardboard box and includes the original papers. There are no spots or other problems with the medal. Please PM if interested.

Thanks!
