what should I do if today passes

I submitted a batch of cards on the 27th of January with the $5 special that was available. It states that there is a 35 day turnaround time. That would mean that my grades should be available by the end of today. If they don't post them, what should I do? Do I bug them and ask where my cards stand, or should I just sit back and wait? Looking for some opinions. Thanks in advance.

Throw a tantrum. It is the high ground.
  • It's 35 business days. There's still plenty of time.

achty> Assuming your order was entered into the system on 27 January, by my calculations today is the 26th business day. Remember, PSA goes by BUSINESS days not calendar days for their turnaround guarantees. And that excludes holidays.

For your order, the 35th business day would be 16 March - and that's assuming that PSA doesn't count Presidents Day as a holiday.

If your order isn't completed by 16 March, then I agree with Dave - a tantrum would be in order. Until then, just wait it out.

what type of cards did you submit? was there any type of oddball stuff that would cause a delay? from what I am seeing , most orders are being completed in 10 business days or less after they are entered in the system

    and REMEMBER WHAT CAROL SAID
(on more than one post about this subject)

Just a reminder for everyone out there.

Please mark the service level on the outside of the package where it is easily seen.

We've always asked that people do this but the majority don't.

The reason behind this, if you have an express order that is clearly marked, the receiving department can grab that package first.
Also, we are doing everything possible to get caught up as quickly as possible.

Thanks everyone, I completely forgot about the whole business day thing. That would make sense. I guess I'm just excited about getting all my new Reggie White cards.

For sure right now, before filing any sort of complaint, I'd make sure they've gone past the 35 day limit. No sense having them get on the stick right away and cost yourself a ton of free submissions. You've waited this long, just sit tight a little longer and either they'll pop right up, which is fine, or you get the subs, which is fine too.

If PSA doesn't get your order completed in the alotted time, you get free submissions. That's not so bad. Heck, when PSA comes down to the wire with my submissions, I always hope the guarantee isn't met. In fact, every time I have received free submissions for a guarantee that went over, the cards came back lightning quick...and there is no guarantee on that service. Go figure.
