    I wonder if that can be conserved at all??? I also wonder if, since it's painted, would the surfaces be pristine? Or would there be any damage on it at all? I can't see how it's mounted.

    That coating looks like a fiberglass or Poly covering, sent him an email for clarification about removal and coating.
