It Stinks When You Look at the Buying Pattern of the Guy Who Out Bids You and...

he/she has really deep pockets! It's very discouraging when my bid is toppped by someone who spent over $1,000 each on the last two e-bay purchases. I guess I'll just place my top bid and see how much they wants the coin!

  • I hate this, too. Sometimes I wish I could just send an e-mail to the other bidder and say, "Have mercy. I need this beautiful XXX for my collection." I'm sure it would be totally pointless, though...

    There's this guy called beatone who always makes a lowball bid early in the auction on some of the Morgans I'm looking at and that really stinks because that means he is going to come back at the last second and make a really really high bid & win.
    Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.
