Anyone know the deal on SP Signature BK White tins?

Just got my two cases of SP Signature basketball in today and of the 12 tins/packs there were two white tins. Also, is there even distribution of the tins? I got three black Kobe tins, 2 Darko, 1 McGrady, 1 LeBron, 1 Jordan, 2 Carmelo, and then the White tins of McGrady and Darko. Are there 2 white tins per case and are there any known tin short prints? Sorry, I guess you guys would expect me to be the expert on this, but Upper Deck didn't tell me squat on the subject. Maybe I'll call my UD rep tommorrow, but any help in the meantime is appreciated, Jason

    I opened 3 tins one white the white one i got a short print auto #d to 25. it was jordan white tin. all in all i thought there wasnt to be any common auto's in this product?? i got nothing but late pick rookies and a common player.

    On a quick check of the beckett boards, it appears the odds of getting good cards are better with
    the white tins but doesn't guarentee you a good card..someone pulled a Kobe auto out of a black
    tin. How much is this stuff?

    Its going for 50$ a tin on ebay. its one pack one auto a total gamble!! if you like to gamble its worth a shot.

    Thanks...I was wondering what exactly you could wind up with out of a tin. Barbosa isn't bad, I guess, but for $50+ there seems to be great potential for dissappointment with this product.

    Yes but there is great expectations also. Lebron auto michael jordan kobe bryant shaq t mac etc.. Its a total gamble. but ill tell you this much better gamble than paying 100-125 for a box of showcase baseball!!

    True, and I guess you could pull a Lebron or Carmelo # RC as well. No doubt, I'll have to pick up a few tins (can't resist!).

    Well, UD has suckered me in again. I bought one tin tonight ($60 at a retail shop), and this is the big prize -

    Corey Maggette Authentic Signatures (unnumbered)

    I'll leave this product for you gamblers...I'm out on this stuff.

    Edit - It was a white tin.
