Hello David!
In comparing notes with other folks on the PCGS message boards, it seems a LOT of coins slow down in the "sealing and verification" phase.
So I was wondering, does PCGS have more than one sealing machine?

When in doubt, don't.

PCGS does have more than one sealing machine. The slow down is not in processing. We always add whatever capacity we need to get the job done. The slowdown is in the grading. There are a limited number of qualified graders and we will not let apprentices grade your coins.
