Great news on OC cards ;0)

1974 Topps Nolan Ryan

This clearly well-informed seller tells us:

"It is slightly OC (off-centered) but so are many cards of this time frame, Grading companies do not take off points for this flaw, rather extra points are awarded for cards that are not OC!"

This is great!
I have some nice, well-centered cards.
Could I be the first with a PSA 11?

  • Don't agree, as many OPCs I submit (which have natural rough cuts and majority are off-center) get the OC qualifier. If you have a 1973 OPC #1 (Aaron/Ruth HR leader) with good centering, you are quite lucky.

  • Actually, according to the letter of the law, he is correct in that they don't "take points off." Instead, they slap a big fat "(OC)" on the label and kill the card's value. But its still an 8 or 9 or whatever.

So then, spend the $10 bucks and send it in, mr. honest seller! Why would you give your money away? Some sellers must think we are idiots.
