The only PR60 PCGS has ever graded, with none lower! Too bad about that nice reverse, though. image

I trust it didn't cost much more than melt value........... image
"Lenin is certainly right. There is no subtler or more severe means of overturning the existing basis of society(destroy capitalism) than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and it does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose."

A lot more than melt. After all, I had to pay for the privilege of owning a POP ONE. (Less than it cost to slab it, though.)

That reverse almost killed the grade. On a good day that reverse is a 62/63 in anybody's book. Fortunately, this coin is a slider and a perfect 60. Although not shown on the holder, this carries the "circulated roughly abused pocket piece proof" (CRAPPP) designation according to Wiles. Congrats on the pop 1.

    Russ,

Please sell that one to me, I'd like to add it to my "toilet seat" collection.

The President claims he didn't lie about taxes for those earning less then $250,000 a year with public mandated health insurance yet his own justice department has said they will use the right of the government to tax when the states appeals go to court.

  • KUCH: Pop 1 means that there is only one coin graded in that grade...

PS - Pop Top means that there are none graded higher... image

What in the world would make someone pay to have a coin like that slabbed by pcgs? image Were they hoping that the grader would forget their glasses that day??

  • Soon to be a POP 2 coin Russ, because I put one into circulation not too long ago at the San Francisco Bay Bridge toll booth. I had a nice looking proof left over from a set and it wasn't worth selling so I used it on the bridge for kicks.
  • Would be a perfect set with Braddick's PF60UCAM IKE Pop 1. He'd love your Kennedy!!! And needs it for this year's Registry Awards.

    Tyler,

It's a lot worse than hairlines. More like trenches. The coin looks like somebody took a jackhammer to it. image
