Scan Doctors...Help give my card a "makeover"

Vintage Hockey......the picture selection is not always the best image ....your wife will never question if you really "dig" the guys on the cardboard...image

Poor Camille came from my 1962 Topps Hockey set and needs a make-over in a major way. Can any of you Scan Doctors help?

    Bailone - Is this directed towards people who enhance scans to make cards better ?
    If so, sorry I can't help. All I own is an HPscanjet.

    Just having some fun...thats all.

    Not looking to add the image to the registry (this one is already there) or for eBay purposes.

    I use a HP scanner as well.

    Like I said...just tying to have some fun.

    That's great. Reminds me a little of that commercial with Mike Vick
    in a Colorado Avalanche uniform scoring a goal. The Andre Agassi
    in a red sox uniform is pretty cool too. Love that commercial.

    I just noticed that the right border of the card is thicker in the "make-over" version. I wonder what caused that?

    Amazing how you can change a card!! Taking a low end 8 and changing into a high end. Just curious how long did it take to enhance that card.

    Literally only around three minutes, I PM'd the details to Basilone on how the right edge got thicker. He can decide if posting that kind of information is proper.

    I'm not proud, and think we should consider whether or not this thread should be deleted.

    Hey!" Manila" John, is that one of the cards I traded with you? Now you know why I stopped 1962's, most of them in Top body pictures are not great .Only the full bodied with uniform look good. Unfortunately I'm a liken to colors and nice designs of which I think only half the 62's are nice. Krazy

    That my have been one of the cards....yea...I can do without the head shots too. I like the full poses much better!

    The scary thing is, your 'enhanced' picture could easily pass as a photograph from the '71 Topps/OPC set.

    Double WOW!!! I think I've seen this type of artistic enhancement on eBay as well...especially on some ungraded cards...fantastic improvement...I'd give it a a 10 as well!

    Thanks for the nice comments about my web site. Actually I am not a programmer. I built that web site without knowing a lick of programming. I pretty much tought myself everything I know about computers. I probably have over 200 man hours into the site. I am very proud of my collection and enjoy accepting praise!!
