I know the pics are dark but the flash won't work on the camera and I'm not up for setting up a photo setup tonight. It has been cleaned, I tried to get the one with the least amount of cleaning damage I could find. Dayum! People went insane with cleaning the 21's!!!!

Nah, the coin looks relatively nice...even has a hint of luster LOL The darkness is all from the poor lighting

I'm still on a quest for the 21. Wrapped up my quest for the 28 last week. as soon as the 21 is down, i can move on to another series. Luckily I have no huge desire for a 34S, not a big condition rarity guy.

I picked up a '21 a month back - it was heavily toned golden-grey with
all the luster intact in an ACG MS64 holder. A little on the dark side but
very clean and compares well with a NGC MS64 '25 in terms of marks/hits.
Strike is typical: flat on the waves over the ear.

I'm waiting on a '28 which I'm hoping looks as good in person as it did
in the ad. Should come in as MS63 but who knows.

I've also got a filler VF for my 34-S. I'm saving for that one. It seems four
figures is a must for a nice BU.

I got my 1921 Peace a couple of mounth's ago at the flee market it's cleaned to but for $20 couldn't pass it up

There is a local collector in my area that absolutely loves the 21 Peace dollar. He buys them all the time. He is on the low budget side, so he has to buy in the vg-vf range. But actually has found some pretty actractive lower grade 21's.

Here's mine... Paid about $50 for it about three years ago. Some stray hairlines, but I think it hasn't been cleaned.


I don't like the low relief peace design, but the 1921 peace dollar definitely has character.

My '21 is horribly cleaned and shiny as can be. I won't post a pic because I'm sure it would blind you all... Does one of you know why there are many cleaned ones out there? Does it have anything to do with the whole "high relief" thing?
