PSA/DNA Turnaround Time

I sent 19 cards to PSA/DNA in PA for grading/authenticating on 2/12 from Baltimore. I have yet to get a confirmation e-mail stating that the cards are in the system, hence I assume the 20-day turnaround time has not begun. I spoke with a customer service rep in PA and I was told that the autographs are authenticated in PA and then sent to CA where they enter the system for grading. Should I have any reason to be concerned on the whereabouts of the cards or is this typical for this? I'm not concerned with the guaranteed turnaround but rather, I just want to make sure the cards are not floating around somewhere.

  • I'm having the same problem myself. Cards were submitted to PSA/DNA on 02/03 checking my tracking# they recieved it on 02/07 so I'm also waiting for my cards to arrive. Just checked the status before coming on the board. It still hasn't been posted yet.

  • I was wondering what was taking my cards so long to return to me. I gave PSA a call to find out that they are still not in the database. These 14 cards were mailed to PSA/DNA on 02/03 it is now 03/03 I decided to give PSA/DNA a call to check up and see when they shipped the submission to PSA. Get this, the lady on the other end told me that my order has ship out to PSA today. Today? gee wiz it's been there for almost a month. So I called PSA customer service once again only to be told, that as soon as the cards are recieved by PSA/DNA. PSA has 20 turn around business days to ship them to me. I feel like I'm being given the run around. image

  • Wow, PSA/DNA has always got me my cards back in 20 days..I know PSA is so busy right now just to get orders into the system. PSA/DNA has done a great job of sending cards to PSA within 3-4 days for me....I am sending another order to them in 5 days but I think I will hold onto for now till they catch up as I am as impatient as they come and if I don't get them in 20 days I will start freaking out image

I also spoke with customer service at PSA and was told that my cards weren't there. The lady was very helpful though and called PSA/DNA to confirm that they still had them. She came back to say that they had so many orders that she'd have to search for mine and call me back tomorrow.

Make sure your cards are licensed by the Major card company, before you send them out. I just had one card slabbed in a PSA holder today that wasn't licensed, I had requested a holder for this card since October 2003, It's been PSA/DNA twice and finally after a long review process, it's in a PSA holder "FINALLY" but without the PSA cereal number. So theres no way I can regestir it into my set. I will post the card later.
