Anyone help grade & attribute this Large Cent error?

I took a flier on an eBay auction with terrible pics, and wound up with this lovely surprise in my P.O. Box this morning:

The rim clip, the whole reason I was interested in the coin, is genuine. This coin will replace a well-worn, corroded, and clipped 1820 cent in my burgeoning type set.

In addition, there is a very distinctive die break running about 240-degrees around the reverse, starting at the E of UNITED and running to the I in AMERICA. The grade on the holder was VF, I tend to argee although the obverse looks like it could be a little better than that. Can any of the early copper crew tell me if this coin is listed in Sheldon or Newcombe, and also let me know if the grade is in the ballpark?

I can't help with the Newcomb number but the coin is better than VF by current standards, probably XF-40 or 45. The bad news is that I suspect that it has been cleaned at some time and is now retoning. I would probably give it a net grade of VF-30.

VERY nice coin!!! I agree the clip is genuine and I think the grade is a VF 30 or 35. The color loks excellent on my screen. The vaiety is a N-6 Rarity 1. The die crack on the reverse is pretty much the diagnostic feature for this variety. I think it always comes with that crack. This is a late die state where the denticals have been worn/lapped away on the reverse. It lists in Penny Prices at $110 in VF 30

Great news, Conder, thanks. In the hand the coin doesn't look cleaned or recolored, there is some orange in the fields but the dominant color is a milk chocolate brown. On my screen the coin looks redder than in person.

BTW, this auction ran two or three times with no bidders, I can't count how many times I almost pulled the trigger. I'm certainly glad I finally took the shot at it.

concur w/ conder101. the clip warrants neither a value downgrade nor a premium, imo.

Please educate me. What makes this a rim clip, rather than post-production damage?
