Link to the auction. Yes, they sell on TV for $19.95 each which is about $19.00 too much.

User I.D. kept private. Always a dead giveaway that seller is expecting stupid bidders.

I disagree. I hate fraud as much as the next guy, but this auction is pretty clear.

*Nobody is going to have real 1933 saint(s) for sale.
*The auction clearly says "tribute proof coins" not once, but three times.
*The auction copy clearly states clad base.
*The selling price isn't even close to what 3 junk circulated saints would sell for.

I think the mere existence of these "tribute" pieces constitutes a certain level of dishonesty. But at some point, the buyer really should beware, or else the buyer genuinely wants fantasy pieces for a gift or for a collection.

I agree. I don't fault the seller here at all. The items were accurately described with a $1 starting bid. Dumb bidders are out there -- and I do wish some of them would bid on my auctions -- I could use the windfall.
