Attendance was very good. It is a 2-day show and I was there on Sat. Lots of retail and wholesale business taking place.
Just a few things that I noticed, coins at all price levels were selling, from $2.00 coins to Five Figure coins.
I was standing next to a nation dealer/buyer who was talking to a customer of his, on the phone seeing if he was interested in a buying a 1929 $5 Indian in PCGS-63. Quote "You won't believe what I found. I'm out in the middle of nowhere, somewhere in Iowa and I found a 1929 Indian" He bought the coin.
This is a great little show. I shouldn't post anything about it on these boards, because then everyone from across the country will flock there and beat me to some great coins.

Was the national dealer the tall thin gent with the briefcase who was going over all of the dealer cases with that light thingy?

It was a great year at the Nevada show, high attendance and coins for anybody, I ended up purchasing two coins for my registry set and haven't seen people buying/ selling coins that that in over a year.

He had what looked like some sort of flashlight that he used to scan dealer cases. I believe that he was looking for gold coins.

Did you see the guy walking around with the sign hanging from his neck, "Coins For Sale"

No musta missed him. I did notice that Larry from Ottumwa and the dealer from Ladysmith , Wis weren't there. Picked up a couple Morgans for myself and a board member but that was about it.
