Autographed Card Submissions

I understand that in order to get autos authenticated and graded that are prior to 1998, you have to send to PSA/DNA for $20/card. However, is it only $8/card to to send HOF autographed chase cards from the last few years for grading and authenticating?

Thanks

You are correct. No need to pay the extra PSA/DNA for certified cards manufactured after 1998.
  • but you still have to send any card (even After 1998)
that was signed in person (or not certified by the
card company) to PSA/DNA via the "combo" $20 deal.
(not a bad price considering what some authentication
    costs for other items....

  • Thanks for the response. If I understand correctly, though, any signed "chase" card from 1998-present would only cost $8 for grading/authenticating for use in the HOF auto registry set, right?

    basically.

First, it may be more or less than $8
depending on the service level (time it takes
to get it back) or if there is a grading Special
    (like last month's $5 special)

Second, on "certified Autos" from card companies
from 1998-present, there is no "Authentication"
process as they are already Authenticated by the
card companies, so basically it is just a "plain old"
grading process as it would be for any modern card.
