Acetone..???...Safe to "CLEAN" a coin????

OK...I heard you could soak a coin overnight in acetone and it wouldn't hurt the coin as far as beeing considered cleaned. IS this correct?? What do you do when you take it out of the acetone? Rinse with water and let dry?????

I have several Morgans that have MS details..but look terrible. I don't want to make them any worse.

Let it dry. Acetone dries within a minute!
