A bit disappointed. For one I don't see corrosion, but my idea of corrosion could be something else. But these bloody white spots in the case plastic and the foreign material inside make it impossible to get a good pic for my ebay auction.
I thought the slab would help me get more for it but not so sure now. What would you do?
Any input appreciated.

There might be a touch of porosity on the reverse there but it's had to tell. The 1914 D is an easy sell regardless.

The corrosion will be the darker area above LIBERTY on obv & the discolored top ½ of the letters ONE, the reddish AT in STATES, the E in CENT and the red spot under OF AMERICA on the rev.
People are starting to buy smarter, thier have been numerous articles about cleaned coins and problem coins and what you should try to buy vs what you shouldnt. I think the smarter buyer will continue to educate him/her self over time, and more and more net graded coins and off slab coins will bring lower realized prices. This will especially be true on coins that are available at any given moment.
There are always PCGS graded 14-d lincolns for sale in just about every circualted grade on e-bay, teletrade, auctions, major dealers etc from time to time. People have learned to hold out for problem free specimens.
