Be honest, does anyone really like a coin that is dirt cheap?

Just because they think it is pretty, georgeous (sp?), cool, etc.? For example, I'm not big on colored coins that much, such as the color coated state quarters. However, Canada has made 3 seasonal coins which are just 1 ounce silver bullion. Each coin--Spring, Summer, & Fall, has a different type of maple tree leaf/leaves. I admit that I think all 3 are beautiful (I admit it OK...Oh no, here comes the stones... I"m being stoned, ouch that hurt. hey stop throw.... ouch...ing those rocks...ouch...I admit I really like them) Is there any coin (definition: a type of metal with some value which can be currency or just bullion of some sort). I also love the Lunar series, both gold & silver. Anyone else, serious collecting aside, really like any of these types (including commemoratives)? I hope I don't really get put in the stocks for this one, but as an excuse I am the COINFOOL!!
Peace,

1974-S Silver Ike, PCGS PR67. It has the smoothest chocalte brown ring of obverse toning.
1961 Lincoln, PRGS PR67RB. Amazing electric purple toning.
Multiple pretty toned silver Roosevelts in MS66 and MS67.

Is it the plastic that makes the coin?
For me, I think some of those foreign silver proofs sets done by he Franklin Mint are terrific and they're dirt cheap, too. Sometimes they can be had for melt...or less!

I actually own some coins that went up in value but that was pure luck and had nothing to do with why I bought them.
I'll take dirt cheap pretty coins any time instead of whats "hot".
