Seated Liberty Quarter..Grade help... Revised

I am not very familiar with the seated quarter...

Wondering what the forum members think about this one..... Grade?

With well over 10 Million coins minted there have to be more dies than you could almost identify. This is THE most common dated seated quarter by far. If this weren't a type coin, no one would want this date. The 1853/4 variety is interesting as is the doubled date varieties. Those both command a good premium.

Ray should be able to give much more detail however.

Goodness yes. There are so many you could take quite a while just figuring out this year alone. Briggs only lists the major ones.

My favorite are the rotated dies.

The coin appears to have AU detail but the obverse seems to be a bit rough or corroded. Value is maybe $75.

As already mentioned, this is a common date. Your example looks to be a pleasing AU50 or perhaps AU53. I like it

XF-45 or Au-50. Not a bad looking coin.
