boring Q? Should you do 7 or 10 days on eBay coin auction?

I always do 10 days because of the added exposure, are there some reasons why I shouldn't, and explain why? what do you usually do? Do you put a Reserve on coins under, say, $1000? Do you put in a Buy it now? I always do 10 days, no reserve, no buy it now. Pros & cons?

I do 7 day auctions because I do one set of auctions a week and am into a nice routine now. Also I save 10 cents

I try to start as many coins as possible at 1 cent with no reserve. I might experiment with buy it now sometime, but I haven't tried it yet.

I think 10 day auctions are too long. Most auctions are 7 days. People planning to bid find something else and spend the money on the 7 day ones.

With eBays recent fee increase, you now save 20 cents.

Sometimes I'll do 10 days if I have something to list Tuesday or Wednesday. It doesn't seem to matter much IMO

10 day auction started on Thursday at 10 P.M. EDT allows two full weekends of exposure and ends Sunday evening from 7-10 P.M. across the continental U.S. which is the real target market. use a $1 start. a modest reserve of around 70% what you'd like if you feel you need to cover weak bidding and a BIN of 90%, though true auctions probably work best. post good pictures and an honest, accurate worded description and offer free, insured shipping while encouraging any questions via e-mail.

cut out all the unnecessary BS in the listing title and description and scrap the fancy-a** template or set-up. the ones with cutesy borders, music, big print, other auction links, web-page descriptions, colors that are bright or dark, etc, etc, etc are just a distraction.
