Recommendations for first submission to NGC anyone

Got my member kit from NGC yesterday.Only took 2 days from the day I signed up online to get my submission kit.

A couple of questions for the experienced...

How do you package your coins when sending in? I noticed some nice little coin boxes in the NGC brocheres. Where do you get them at?

Since this will be my first time sending in coins for grading, should I worry about sending in my better coins for the first time? Or should I send in cheaper stuff first?

What about sending in rolls of BU morgans or Kennedys, good idea or not?

What are the best coins to send to NGC ? Bust,Barber,Gold,Modern?

Thanks for your valuable help...

I packaged my coins to NGC exactly the same way as I did with PCGS. To get the boxes, just write on the invoice for them to add some. They cost like $5 each. And they will not return coins in free ones no matter how many coins you get graded. As for what you have graded, it's whatever your pleasure is. You'll get different opinions on NGC's relative skill on each series. The one constant I hear is that PCGS is more respected for moderns than NGC.

    Thanks nwcs,

I have a Bust dollar I want to send to NGC so I can get the variety attributed, was just worried about sending as my first submission since I'm really not in the system yet...

Be very selective about what you send in. Look at each coin very carefully and don't waste money sending in borderline pieces.
    All glory is fleeting.
