Need Help Don't know what to do?

Ok here is my problem. I bought some rolls of Sac's from this online store back in Jan 18. I ordered them in 2 different transactions; just in cast there was any problems. So I ordered 4 rolls (2 in one transaction and 2 in the other) and it turned out she only had 2 out of the 4 rolls. She told me (all via e-mail) that she should have them in around the first of Feb. I said ok no problem, send me the 2 you have and I'll wait the week or so to get the rest. Now I paid extra for priority mail and it should have been here in 3 days. After waiting a week, I e-mailed her back asking here if she sent the or not. After a couple of e-mails she finally answered me and said no she hadn't sent it, and was waiting to see if the other would come in. Now I told here to send the 2 that I had already paid for, and send the other 2 when she gets them. Since I already paid for 2 shipping charges I thought that was a reasonable request. Anyway after a few days I did get the first 2 rolls as promised. Now I'm waiting for the other 2 rolls. I e-mailed here a couple of times to see what was going on, and got no answer. So I finally e-mailed her and told her that I was going to file a complaint with paypal for non-delivery of goods if she didn't send me the other 2 rolls, or refund my money. She did e-mail me back and said she would refund my money, since I wasn't happy. Well I still haven’t seen it. I did file a complaint with paypal but since it was over 30 days old they not going to do much about it. The only reason I waited was because I though she was going to get them, so in good faith I waited. I tried e-mailing here and I did call once on the phone, but got no response. I did leave a message on the answering machine, but again got no response. So I don't know what to do. I paid via paypal with my visa debit card (bank card), but since paypal will not do anything about it I'm not sure what else I can do to get my money back. I'm sure that someone out there has already experience this, so what did you do, and did you get your money back. Anything would be helpful.

Thanks
Dave

    Bummer!!image
Same thing happened to me on an eBay purchase......I paid through PayPal (non-credit card).
I believed he would send it and before I new it, 90 days had gone by and I can't even post a
    negative on him!image
I have him phone # and call once a month to ask about it....he always promisses to get it in
the mail....It never shows....same old story. Now he no longer has an eBay account. I just
keep calling at weird times and say "What's up?".
I'll stop by and pay him a visit next time I'm down near Sarasota.image

You may have recourse through your credit card company....call them and check. I think if you
pay for something with a credit card and you don't recieve the goods, some credit cards won't charge
you for it. If she still has her online store up, I would also call the BBB and file a complaint against
her for fraud. If the online store in with eBay.....file a complaint with eBay for non-delivery of goods.

Hope you can work it out.
    Good Luck,

  • Once I pre ordered an item (pre production purchase)for $1002. When I did not receive it 6 months after ordering,4 months after it should have been shipped I contacted the police in their town. They told me charges could be filed agienst them and with this info I paid them a visit and got 100% refund as they were going bankrupt. It is amazing how much better you are treated face to face on their home front porch then you are on the phone. Joe

No good, he didn't use a credit card, he used a debit card so the money came out of his bank account.
  • Create a new ebay account, bid on something of heres and neg her.....image
  • Could you please tell us the NAME of the online store, so that we can be sure NOT to shop there. Is it an eBay store? a Paypal store? Is there a way for you to get the address. If so, I would then call, and say on phone/or leave message: "I want to confirm that you are at 1234 Blah Blah Street - because it just so happens that my "brother/uncle/cousin/friend lives in your city, and I may ask them to stop by and pick up the coins for me." Then see if they respond. Then do what you can to get the store SHUT DOWN - and/or report to police, and whoever you can for fraud. It would seem that if Visa's name is on the card that you use, that you could contact them and/or your bank as well to see if there may be a recourse through them. I would also find out if they have online auctions, and do what you can to leave a neg on that. Let us know how it turns out. Good luck.
  • What I don't like is paypal want you to try to resolve it and only give you 30 day to do so. When they tell you its coming and coming and it doesn't show up, well it eats away those 30 days real fast. I think they should have a 60 or 90 day policy. I did contact there local police department so we'll see what happens there.

I'll be happy to post the name of the place when it get resolved. It's not an ebay store. It's a paypal store, so I'm a little surprised that I'm having a problem with them. I'll let you know how it goes

  • Any other suggestoins plz.

  • If you know where they live, notify the local law. My wife did this on an auction and they paid right up after a visit from the police.

If you know the town, you can find the police or sheriff by using yahoo yellow pages.
