Tales from the coin room

Well, just to give you stories on interesting things I see at my job, I'll start a "tales from the coin room" thread. Today, another worker found something in a bag of dimes that no one has ever found before, a gold tooth! Pretty disgusting but man that sucker must have weighed 5-6 grams. I can just see that deposit! Yes, I'd like to deposit this bag of dimes..cough....uh sorry, where did that go?!?! I also found a 1906-s barber dime. The usual 40% Kennedy's and silver roosies aren't even worth mentioning since I come across them daily.

It must be extremely painful to work at that job and see a rare coin and know you can't take it or replace it with other money...

i was helping the local guy go through $750 worth of circ Walkers last year, picking out better dates and grades. we found a 1939 Proof. sadly, it had a staple scratch above the date.
