Dave,
Have you ever give thought to placing genuine problem coins in a slab that is somehow different from your regular slab and without a grade? I suspect there are many collectors with better date coins out there which have issues such as cleaning or AT that would benifit from being authenticated (but not graded). In my opinion it would be helpful to collectors of limited means who need that key date for their set. It would also allow someone like me who sells a lot of coins to better market problem coins. Just a thought.
