My Auctions
Pedro and Prior duel for 10 innings, each refusing to allow a run. Finally, age tells, and in the 11th, with a man on second, someone (my crystal ball is too hazy to see who) hits a single barely out of the infield, w/ one out. Man on second comes all the way around, and after a violent collision at the plate, is called out. In the ensuing mayhem of both managers coming out, and much ado, the hitter advances to 3rd. With the next batter at the plate, a tired Pedro unleashes a wild ball, and the winning run trots home.
Pedro then assumes the curse of the goat.
