Hey Roosey Collectors 1970-D Ms-65 Fb Sells for $405.00

On ebay a 1970-D ms 65 full bands sells for $405.00, or 25 1970 mint sets. What do you think? Link

    Its a pop 2 coin and the only reason I didn't bid any higher is because its equivalent to an
    MS67 no-band in the registry valued at about 1/8 of this price. It looks like it went to
    Rick so expect to see it in the number 2 set soon.

    That's alot for a MS65FB but what the hey there are only two.
    I have the other one an thought it may be worth a hundered on a good day.

    One has to wonder how many '70 mint sets it would take to duplicate or exceed this.
    About 2% of the '70-D dimes stand out as being cleaner and better struck than the rest,
    but it's doubtful many of these would grade FB.

    May turn out to be a bargain. Both the 70-p and 70-D are at least semi-keys in FB. The 70-P may well turn out to be THE key. It may not even exist.

    IMHO, the 1970 is THE KEY to the entire Roosie set. You may find 1 coin that will have the MS67FB rating, but I highly doubt it.

    I don't think it exists.

    BTW- anyone know if we are going to get a non-FB clad dime registry? They did it with the silver roosies.
