Bugs Bunny Franklin - is the a premium?

WindycityWindycity Posts: 3,603 ✭✭✭✭✭
Just bought an original roll of 1955 Franklins... nothing spectacular... all blast white, many full bell lines, maybe three or four 64's and one shot 65. Is there a silver lining here??? 8 of the coins are the Bugs Bunny variety. Is there a collector premium for these?

The BB is fairly common. You might be able to get a couple bucks extra for them but not big $$$$

I paid $38 for this ANACS MS64 FBL just because it said Bugs on it image

(Not much more than a regular MS64FBL)

I'm thinking the whole roll should have been BB's.

A mixed roll seems strange to me. Maybe I'm wrong.

1234567890 - A " Bugs Bunny " is called that because it looks like Franklin has Buck Teeth around his mouth. I have a couple of them, which I don`t intend to sell.

The bunny tooth fangs were caused by a die clashing from the tiny eagles outer wing feathers on the reverse which happen to line up exactly with Bugs..er Bens mouth on the obverse.

Of course the real question is "should it be worth a premium"?
