FYI: If your waiting for submission results....

...the e-mail notification system at PSA has been down for a couple of days so you may want to check for results. At least, that's what customer service told me because I have submissions that shipped two days ago and never received notification.

edited to say: That also means you may not be getting notified when your submissions are logged into the system.

In light of this message, I just called myself. My package was received by PSA on February 20th but has not yet been checked in. I was told they are now just up to checking in packages that were received on February 17th. Hopefully this can give you all some sense as to when you might expect your orders to get checked in.

With that said, it still is frustrating to see your order sit around. I guess I was spoiled from the lightening fast turnaround I received on my last set registry special. In the end, however, I just ask for accurate grading because the large majority of the cards I sent in on my last invoice will remain in my personal collection.

This is worth mentioning again, because it just happened to me! I came home to find my last submission already back to me, and I had no idea it was shipped out. Registry special, 50 cards, less than 2 weeks total turn time. Great job by PSA on this one, strangely though, I still have one submission there since 02/02.

Awesome job by PSA. With those kinda turns who needs the notification, right?

It's kinda interesting for me to look at the process coming from a supply chain/manufacturing background. The check-in process must be the bottleneck in the total grading process since it's so far behind, yet the total turn time is so fast.

Any Eli Goldratt fans out there (i.e. Theory of Constraints)?
