  • We all have our own respective private web hosting services. If you're using a dialup or broadband, your ISP will generally offer to host a web page for you with an account limit of between 1 to 25 MB. You can then find out how to upload pictures to your own account on your ISP's system, then click the "image" button and point to it. This board will host some pictures for you, but with all the people posting pictures they can get overwhelmed, so they limit the file size to 50K.

Photoshop and reduce the KB's to get under the 50 max.

    Several ways:
#1 make pictures that are less than 50kb to start with.
    #2 use JPEG
#3 on slightly larger than 50kb pictures click "save as" and save it using low image quality. Low quality is still good.
#4 crop out all the extra stuff
#5 on the tough ones use a image resizer program which you can find for free on the net.

50K is OK for most pics. You can have a 400X400 jpg for that. I like them a little bigger so I put my pics on my personal wenspace provided me by my ISP.
