crossing cards with old sgc flips

I've read opinions that SGC slabs with the old labels,
may be over-graded from 1/2 to a full PSA grade over SGC cards in the newer holders.

This card looks very nice in the scan, but I don't want to bid on a 9, that's going to end up in a PSA 8 slab.



Another urban legend, or some truth to these tales ?
