1625 Charles I Medal

I bought this today and don't really know much about it other than it was issued to celebrate the marriage of Charles I and Henrietta Maria in 1625. It is silver and 23mm in diameter. Any info would be helpful. Thank you!

What's frightening is that I was going to post the exact same answer as Don, before he posted his comment. However, I took a deep breath and walked away instead of succumbing to childish urges. image

It is a very neat medal, but I don't collect medals. Better that is goes to someone who can more fully appreciate and enjoy it.

Send it to me and I'll be able to tell you more about it.

I know you can't see this, but it has a most wonderful golden tone to it.
