How well does pcgs honor their grade guarantee on moderns?

Ok, I just got a 1971-d Lincoln Cent in a pcgs ms66rd holder. It is hands down the worst, ugliest, most overgraded coin I've ever seen, 63 at best, maybe not even red. Gashes, spots galore! The pcgs "price guide" lists it at $300 (I didn't pay that much, but I paid more than the 1 cent the coin is worth). What type of refund would pcgs grant? Should I just send it back to the seller and lose my postage money? Not just this coin, but I've got ms66 clad quarters with large scratches, ms65 Kennedy half dollars with a large nick right on JFK's cheek... The grading seems ridiculous some times!
