Today history is being made!

So you have seen the adds for the National Collector's Mint. After reading some of their info, I can't tell what the "coins" are made from. It can't be silver, or they would surely list that. they list them as "10 mil 24 KT Gold Clad Base"
Other than a gold plating, I have no idea what is under them.
Any ideas?

Also how can they write this BS?
"The National Collector's Mint announces the limited advance striking of the 21st Century's first and only 100% SOLID GOLD (14 KT) 10mm diameter $20 Gold Piece. THERE IS NO GOLD PURER THAN 14 KT GOLD!"
Um, ever heard or 18k or 24k?
