Would you experts say this is a doubled die Morgan reverse?

What year and mint is your Morgan? It could be machine doubling, but if it's not, it might be a recognized VAM variety.

It's a beautiful 1901.
This is the only reference to 1901's that I could find on the VAMLINK page - but I'm sure there are other varieties - this is the TOP 100 reference:
<< <i>94. 1901-P DDR VAM 3 "Shifted Eagle". Considered the top Doubled Die Reverse in the Morgan dollar series. Unbelievably spectacular. Buy these up! >>
Maybe someone who's on has their VAM book handy and can add to this.
Are the tail feathers doubled?
are there any other opinions on this or am I just seeing things?
In the vam book there are 2 doubled reverses. First(vam 3) on is Shifted Eagle. The eagle is shifted up to the 12 oclock position with doubling of the od and w in the "in god we trust".
The other is vam 4, doubled lower reverse, United,One dollar,Merica both stars and wreath doubles toward rim..
But that is a PROOF coin......
It looks like vam 4 from the pics, could it be a proof? EDITED >> maybe not....I'm confused on this one
Are you sure the's no mintmark on the reverse also?

The clue is on pgs 457-458.
Are you trying to say it's VAM 3 with the shifted eagle or Breen 5681 which is hub/hub and matches VAMs 5-9?
I don't think so because I do see doubled tail feathers but not any doubling in the arrows etc that would be consistant with an attributed VAM.
