Lurking "in the back" were these 3 beauties. They all have more luster than the images portray.

All of them are very cool, easily uncirculated for all of them. I love indians image

    Congratulations!

  • I think their butt ugly, and you should just send them to me so no one ever has to see them again.

I like the 1909 alot. That is my favorite look on a RB IHC.
Here is two of the four I just picked up from DLRC, I haven't shot the other two yet (1899 and 1906) maybe when I get off work in the morning.

I'm still having a hard time showing the color in a pic as well, and trying to fight the light.

Nice IHC's CaptainRon. And your pics are pretty good too. You got the luster captured.
The trick now is to lose the glare from your light source. And thank you all for the replies.

The little lady wanted me to post the 06 that she got me for Valentines day. This is NOT the 06 that DLRC sold me. IT's pretty has a proof look, but I'm affraid it is just an AT job, since I've never seen a slabbed IHC with these colors, never the less it is a pretty coin. I'll try to have the other two out in the morning.

    Pretty coins CR. K

  • WWW, please allow me to bring on a little negativity here. It is my opinion, from what I can tell from the scans, that all three coins are not original and have been re-colored or messed with in some way. I doubt that any of them would pass muster at the grading services. None of the coins fall under the normal spectrum of "original" colors that I am used to seeing.

I'm sure they were inexpensive and as long as you're having fun that's the most important thing I guess. As much as I hate to break up the party, I think that it's important that somebody lets you know that all may not be well. Just my opinion of course.
  • Tonelover, seeing you post reminds me I have one of your coins I need to show off soon as well, that nice 1900. Just been lazy about taking the picsimage

I'll be sending them in to PCGS tomorrow. So time and a few more bucks will tell if PCGS concurs with Tonelover's ascertain.
But he's right about them being (relatively) inexpensive, and I like them, so it's no big deal to me either way.

Sorry, but I suspect that all three are AT.

  • Ron, your pictures are indeed nice. It's a pain to get copper to look good. I'll bug you for your secret soon.
