Very carefully packaged with lots of labels and identification. REgistered mail with lots of insurance with Canada Post. No customs hassles upon return, knock on wood. There really shouldn't be any.

You may want to find a local reputable authorized PSA dealer and submit through them. That way you will avoid all the hassle with Canada Customs.
If you really want to submit on your own, check out the Canada Post website.
