Is anyone here with familiar Texas commems? Help sought.

I recently purchased a raw 1934 Texas that is probably MS66 shot 67.....the coin is very frosty and satinlike. All the other Texas' that I've had had the surfaces were more brilliant in quality...these were mostly later dates 1937 and 1938. My question is do the 1934's come diff than the other dates?

Seth, we currently have a 34 Texas that is quite lustrous. However, I have seen various examples (of most, if not all issues within the series) display lustrous or satin-like appearances. There should be plenty of each to choose from.

Gotcha, thanks Mark. Sounds like the coin is common either way.
