For days I was watching 2 tantalizing auctions that just ended a few minutes ago, 9 mnutes apart. With about 30 seconds before the first one ended, ebay seemed to experience a service burp where I couldn't pull up anything on their site. The whole rest of the internet worked fine but I couldn't place my bids. Five minutes after the second auction ended, everything was working again. Apparently someone was able to get through on the first auction, though as the final price was higher than it had been, and probably higher than I would've gone. The second one was I definitely would have won, though. Man, I hate it when that happens. At times like that I really wish there was a bidding interval. I'm so mad I could kill myself Ninja style

just bid early...if $50 is the highest you will go and you put the bid in with a day to go and someone outbids you with 1 minute to go you would have still lost to their bid if you would have waited and put the bid in with them with a minute to go, it makes no difference - the highest bid wins whether it's put in early or late

Instead of stalking the auctions,
you should have just bid on them when you first saw them.

The only time I miss is when my bid is too low.My bids go off 6 seconds before the auctions end,seemingly regardless of a system glitch.Sure saves a lot of aggravation.
