$20 Liberty on ebay - interesting bidding

I'm winning for now

I'll probably get sniped, but I thought that the creeping to determine my bid was intersting from this 0 rated bidder. Any opinions? Has anyone done business with this seller?

Someone was definitely feeling you out. Looks like it's legit though...that auction is the only auction from that seller that the guy has bid on so I don't think it is shill bidding.

  • Well, aren't you winning? According to the seller: "I do not accept bids for those with feedback under 10*." Not sure what the asterisk means, but looks to me like you're the frontrunner.

This type of bidding is very common among new eBay bidders. I doubt if it is a shill.

When I was a Zero (some people think I still am) I did the same thing... Not a problem, from what I can see. Go for it.

Went up $300 or so in the last 2 minutes.

    I bid that way sometimes
  • With that age holder, I'm surprised he doesn't have better close-up photos of the coin. I'd be leary that it would hold up to a 63 grade!image
