Hello all,
I kinda new here. Just thought I'd quit being a shadow and say hello. I appreciate the info I read on here. Comes in handy, and it's fun to read some of what goes on around here. Also, I just put a couple PSA 8s (NQ) from the 65 Topps set. I'm not good with links but I'll try to put them in a post.

I'm also considering building a graded '63 set. I have about 100 cards of a raw set (averaging ExMt), and 3 cards graded 8. Is it worth going after ?? I need to be patient with it, and not overpay. But how long am I looking at for fnishing it in anything close to an 8 ??
Thanks,

Auction 2
- Slowly (Very Slowly) Working On A 1952 Topps Raw Set (Lower Grade)
Rugbymarine,
Welcome to the boards!!!
As long as you like the 63's,it is worth going after. As to how long it takes to complete, that depends on how patient you are.You will probably find that there are many e-bay auctions that will test your patience.I would start tracking completed auctions of 63's immediately. That should give you an idea on the price ranges and according to your budget, that will give you somewhat of a time frame.
Vic
Welcome to the boards. The 63 is a sweet set that is more condition sensitive than most would believe. Be patient if you have a budget the cards can be had. If you have no budget be prepared to spend some dollars for the low pops and the stars in 8.

The '63 set is very nice, but it is, as stated, extremely condition sensitive. My budget is fairly small for cards right now, but I am not in any kind of hurry to finish. I've got ambak on my favorites list on EBay. His set is amazing, but I guess he's always upgrading.
