It is a parallel to the blue set, everyone that is in the blue is in the red...most of the players
are guys who had cards back in 55...there are about 5 current stars in the mix too. If you
want a compete list check out georgetown cards and go to their sell sheets.

  • Nice, thanks again. Either of you guys know if they'll so a second series of Topps Heritage? I'm new to the modern stuff, so historically is that what they do? Possibly with more Red Auto's...I guess they'd have to be more current guys, Aaron's the biggest missing vintage guy (and Koufax, but with his love of the Dodgers, I doubt he'd sign).

Topps is only going to produce one set of heritage this year (as the have done since 2001).

there's only 7 on that list I'd pay over $1 for...mays, berra, killer, banks, kaline, snider, musial...that auto list stinks...as hard as autos are to pull from this set I'd be ticked to pull a Lou Limmer sig

Okay...buy as many as you can for $1.00 and I will pay you $10.00 for them.

    Cool?
  • The problem is that there aren't many stars from 1955 still alive. But I agree, the odds of getting any one of them are pretty slim and for that one to be a HOF'er, you'd need a horseshoe up your rump.

The first Allie on ebay went for over 100 bucks I think! Even though many of these guys are
"who??" to you and me, many people grew up with these guys, even hometown legends! I
remember in the first series back in 2001, amid Mays, Snider, Spahn....Preacher Roe sold
    just as well.

So far there are already 5 players who signed in 2001 who are no longer living, for some of these
players it might be the only time they sign! Most of the guys who signed in 2001 are older
    than 80 now.

There are also set builders out there...these autos, no matter who, will be strong sellers.

PS..For every 10 dollar auto John buys Ill give you 12.
