I am going to send in this 2¢ that I posted a few weeks ago. I just got the membership package and am a bit confused. I think it is a proof so I am going to look it up as one. So I find it on page 59 of the PCGS coinbook. I feel it is Proof Red/Brown.
So on the upper left of the page, I see 2 listings.
61033-1870-2c-J-790--PR-BN
71033-1870-2c-J-790--PR-RB
I say it must be 71033, but then I check the coin number lookup web page and see it listed as 3643?
What the heck is going on.
There are 2 other Judd numbers associated with the 1870 PR. in the book. How do I know what they are for?
And also I am puzzled by the service levels. Can I send in 2¢ proof, 2 1883 gold dollars, and a colonial?
If not, how could I do it with the free CC submisions? Pay extra?
Sorry for the long post.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
Don't know about the mixture of submissions with the freebies. I would think that you can send anything you want for the
free ones. Better wait for an answer here or call customer service on Monday.

Your free submissions are considered "regular" submissions. This means that you may submit any U.S. coin that does not exceed a $3000 value, for grading for each of your free submissions. They have to be listed on the free submission form that you receive with your package, and you must include return postage consistant with the formula for total value of your coins, listed on the reverse of the form.
If you are not sure of the 2 cent piece, I would use my best judgement and PCGS will correct it, if it is in error.
Forget the Judd #'s..Put it in a 2x2, place a little tag on it stating 3643 along with your submission number (3643 which is the # of the coin that you THINK is proof) and let it sail from there. They know what's goin' on...
This sounds like far too much trouble. Save yourself all this hassle and sell me the coin.

No, No, No! Sell ME the coin. Russ has enough hairy Kennedys to keep him occupied..
