I won and recieved an "unopened 61 proof set"off the bay awhile back.When I opened it,it looked remarkably like it had been opened and re-sealed.(imagine that).
What was interesting though,was that the Franklin rim was so sharp that at one time or another it had actually cut the plastic and then shifted so that the reverse of the coin was exposed to the air (or steam).
This resulted in a curved black line through reverse of the coin with various rainbow colors eminating from it.(these do not show in scan,just looks dark).Would PCGS bodybag it?
If nothing else I can say it's a "real sharp Frankie".
