I actually bought a Morgan! Grade revealed!

I picked this up at the local coin shop today. The "S" is an RPM. I liked the colors and great strike. Opinions please! Guess the grade please!.....

.The coin is fully lustrous in hand! I truly believe it to be an MS66. Does NGC do designation reviews?

Nice! I like them whiter but this is a beauty.
If it was not cleaned and that is original toning I will say MS66.

Maybe MS67. That is a really clean cheek. The bottom of the neck has damage we see a lot on Morgans.

I'm not much on grading Morgans but as clean as the cheeks, and fields are, and if the lusters there I would say at least an MS66+!

MS65. I don't think it has the luster necessary to get in a 66 holder.

Not bad... don't like the toning too much, but otherwise a great lookin Morgan... I'm not up to grading standards on Morgans, but my first impression is an MS65, or a 66, clean cheek and field in front of her face. Not bad...

On my monitor it has that dullish matte look of freshly sandblasted carbon steel. Looks more like the post 1900 Morgans.
